DQS CFS does not just certify sustainability; we also want to live by it. Once again we have renewed our commitment to upholding the ten principles of UN Global Compact this year. We are pleased to inform you on our progress in 2018, and how we have been actively implementing these principles in our company.
Human rights, labour, environment, anti-corruption – by committing to the United Nations Global Compact, companies agree to comply with social and environmental standards based on the ten principles. More than 13,000 companies and organizations from over 161 countries have helped make the United Nations Global Compact the biggest and most important initiative for Corporate Responsibility worldwide.
As transparency is highly valued at DQS CFS, we have renewed our commitment for the third year in a row. We annually upload our progress report about the improved integration and engagement of the principles within our company.
Reporting on our development
Our progress report focuses in particular on the topics of human rights, environmental protection, responsibilities for staff and the fight against corruption.
The progress report describes the introduced measures to include the ten principles into our corporate strategy, culture and daily operations. Among others, are innovative projects like the ProGASA Initiative, a project that helps to raise gender awareness among social auditors. Measures like these help to continuously improve the integration of the ten principles of UN Global Compact in our company and our services.
