Maintaining a quality system is not an easy task, especially when your organization changed its management system.

ORNAJAYA PACKAGING SDN. BHD. had just finished their Re-Certification audit for ISO9001 and has upgraded its quality management system (QMS) to the ISO 9001:2008 Standards.

Formerly known as Paperjaya Printing and Packaging Sdn. Bhd., ORNAJAYA PACKAGING was certified by DQS for the ISO9001:2000 in the year 2006. From that point of time, DQS Malaysia has been delivering services to ORNAJAYA PACKAGING in providing the ISO9001:2000 certification to them. Their ISO9001:2000 however, expires this year.

Even with the expiry of their ISO9001:2000 certificate this year, ORNAJAYA PACKAGING SDN. BHD. still decided to stick to DQS. Therefore, our auditor decided to perform the audit in September 2009. The Re-Certification audit was carried out accordingly recently which resulted in the re-certification for another 3 years. Scope of certification and the Quality Management System remains the same; Manufacture of Paper Packaging Materials.

With the recommendation from the qualified auditors, ORNAJAYA PACKAGING SDN. BHD. is now certified for the new ISO9001:2008 standard.
