Christmas songs are now playing on the radio more often; everybody is very excited to celebrate Christmas.

On Friday, 17th December morning, all the DQS Malaysia staffs were working as per usual in the office. The radio was on and we tuned to our favorite station, FLY FM, and all of us were listening to the beautiful Christmas songs played on the radio. Then suddenly, the DJs made an announcement. They said that they just bought a beautiful Christmas tree to put in the studio, and unfortunately, there were no gifts to put around the tree! So, they decided to ask anyone who is listening to bring gifts and presents to put around the Christmas tree and the DJs will present the gifts to the kids at Cornerstone Home.

Our General Manager, Mr. Lau En-Soon heard the announcement and said maybe we can do something about it. All of us were very excited and quickly we gave each one of us a task for this project. Ms. Chrissy Teh was in-charged to purchase the gifts and to tell you the truth, she bought very nice gifts for the kids at Cornerstone Home. We decided to give them a surprise on Wednesday, 23rd December, just two days before Christmas.

So, on Wednesday, 23rd December morning, Ms. Chrissy Teh, Mr. Seow TK, Ms. Sally Salleh and Ms. Sonia Sun and her children, went to FLY FM studio, located in Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama. We reached FLY FM’s management office at 9.00am and were greeted by a very nice lady named Shidah. She’s been very helpful and she actually showed us the way to the FLY FM studio where we could meet the DJs.

When we arrived at the FLY FM studio, we can see DJ Ben is still on air. He was waving at us when he saw us.

We were told that the DJs only had about 2minutes to meet us before they go on air again. When they came out from the studio, they greeted us in a very nice way and all of us were really pleased meeting them. We met DJ Nadia and DJ Ben. Although it was just 2minutes, but every one of us feel satisfied, because we got to meet our favorite DJs!

On our back to office, we listened to FLY FM and surprisingly they announced our names on the radio, TWICE! All of us felt very happy and it was a joyful moments for all of us. They read our greeting card and they were very happy to see that we sent joyful greetings to them.

We would like to send our greatest gratitude to FLY FM for the effort of initiating this program. And of course, to Ms. Chrissy Teh for her effort of buying all the good things for the kids at Cornerstone Home. Thank you very much to Mr. TK Seon, Ms. Sally Salleh and Ms. Sonia Sun and her children for organizing this wonderful visit. Santa Claus may not come to Malaysia, but DQS Malaysia surely have a heart of a Santa.
