EN 9110:2005 is one of the standards in Aerospace Quality Management System Series (besides EN9100 and EN9120), which is directed to organizations providing maintenance, repair and overhaul for the aerospace industry. This standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product or services that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and also aims to enhance customer satisfaction through an effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

Airod Techno Power Sdn. Bhd. (ATP, formerly known as Airod Turbopower Sdn. Bhd.) is a subsidiary for AIROD Sdn. Bhd., a company with the name from the abbreviation of “‘Aircraft Inspection, Repair & Overhaul Depot”. ATP was incorporated in 1995 as a joint venture with WG Turbopower Inc., a globally recognized engine repair station that is also a Rolls Royce Authorized Maintenance Centre (AMC). For them to be recognized as qualified supplier, ATP had decided to establish a quality management system according to EN9110:2005. And in order to continue perfecting its quality management system and to challenge the EN 9110:2005 certification, ATP underwent a stringent evaluation process. This included a review of documentation, system assessment and clearance of non-conformances. Upon the completion of the processes and recommendation for certification by the DQS Lead Auditor assigned for ATP’s certification, ATP is now successfully certified according to above mentioned standard. To make this milestone even more prominent, DQS Malaysia proudly announces that ATP is the first company in Malaysia to achieve EN9110:2005 certification.
